VERSO is a pioneer in the field of sustainability software and the all-in-one solution for the sustainable transformation of medium-sized companies. Founded in Munich in 2010 by Andreas Maslo and Florian Holl, VERSO has set itself the goal of accelerating the sustainable transformation of the economy and simplifying it for companies

+12 years of sustainability experience: the VERSO story

2007

In Hawaii and Landsberg am Lech in Upper Bavaria, the idea for a software program was born to make sustainability in companies transparent.

2010

VERSO is officially founded as a company.

2012

Birth of the VERSO software: Sustainability should not only be transparent, but also manageable by companies.

2013

EU funding prize for innovation. Ongoing product development, linked to the needs of the first customers.

2014

VERSO becomes a SaaS solution. The changeover is followed by a growth phase. VERSO now has customers in three countries: Germany, Austria and Finland. We were also included in the “Future Cloud” program of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT ICT Labs).

2018

Relocation of the head office to the Munich Technology Center (MTZ), which houses and connects selected, innovative companies.

2020

VERSO celebrates its 10th anniversary and goes online with the first CSR software store.

2022

VERSO secures growth financing – press release.

2023

VERSO joins forces with sustainabill and the Silvester Group to become the leading European software and consulting provider for sustainability management and reporting – press release.
