Munich\/Berlin, 25.02.2025<\/strong> – The Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e.V. has entered into a cooperation with VERSO GmbH to offer logistics companies a pragmatic, cost-efficient solution for sustainability reporting in accordance with CSRD and effective sustainability management: BVL members receive special conditions from VERSO. The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) requires around 50,000 companies in the EU to produce a sustainability report in accordance with ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards). By cooperating with VERSO, BVL provides its members with significant support in dealing with the resulting bureaucratic burden. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\t\n\n\n

Optimal support with the VERSO CSRD Suite<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Logistics is the third largest economic sector in Germany (after the automotive industry and retail), with more than 3 million employees. Many of the approximately 70,000 companies directly affected or suppliers of companies affected by CSRD must report in detail on their sustainability based on specified data. At the same time, the business sector is under particular cost pressure and has few staff available to deal with this. This is where the support of dedicated ESG software is particularly necessary, which is why the BVL has decided to partner with ESG software pioneer VERSO in order to optimally support the needs of its members with its CSRD Suite. <\/p>\n

“Logistics is predominantly characterized by medium-sized companies and is in a particularly strong field of tension due to the various economic crises. It is important to find pragmatic solutions here in order to be able to tackle the important topic of sustainability reporting efficiently.
