This includes <strong>CSRD<\/strong>, <strong>CSDDD<\/strong>, <strong>CBAM<\/strong> and <strong>EU Taxonomy<\/strong>. The proposed amendments are being negotiated step by step in Parliament and in the trilogue.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\t\n\n\n\t<section class=\"snk-section snk-section_noBtn\">\n\t\t<div class=\"container\">\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"snk-textBlock\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"snk-section-headline\">What does the Omnibus Regulation mean for companies?  <\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The omnibus procedure is intended to bring various adjustments to the CSRD, CSDDD, EU taxonomy and CBAM &#8211; for example, reducing the number of companies affected, cutting red tape and simplifying requirements. The entire overview can be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/de\/ip_25_614\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EU Commission&#8217;s press release<\/a>. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\t\n\n\n<section class=\"snk-textMedia snk-textMedia_right snk-section \">\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row snk-textMedia-inner\">\n\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12 col-md snk-textMedia-text-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"snk-textMedia-text\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Even though the Omnibus introduces many changes and simplifications to ESG regulations, sustainability will remain a <strong>key success factor for companies<\/strong>. You should not miss out on this competitive advantage.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, over 100 other ESG-related regulations &#8211; including the <a href=\"https:\/\/verso.de\/en\/eudr\/\">EUDR<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/verso.de\/en\/blog\/kickstart-lksg-this-is-what-matters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LkSG<\/a> &#8211; are not affected. In addition, many companies along the supply chain must continue to provide ESG data. And in its current form, the CSRD is already being implemented in 20 EU member states.<\/p>\n<p>Our advice for you is therefore quite clear: <strong>don&#8217;t wait and see, but act!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a survey conducted in VERSO webinars (as of 26.02.2025) with several hundred people, a clear majority spoke out in favor of continuing their ESG efforts. 60% want to continue their sustainability activities, including reporting. <span class=\"NormalTextRun CommentStart SCXW233378555 BCX0\">10% are continuing with their sustainability topics as normal, but have stopped reporting for the time being.
